Dashboard Customization for That Unique Look

In a previous post from the other week we discussed how there are literally endless ways for the creative when it comes to customizing their cars, which in slang is referred to as “pimping out your ride”. When it comes to exterior upgrades, obviously rims, tires, spoilers and maybe body kits are the first customization projects that come to mind.

When it comes to interior upgrades, most people usually think of either the audio system or the good old dashboard customization, which usually will happen in the case of any significant stereo or audio system upgrade. But oftentimes people don’t think to upgrade or customize their dashboard unless they are getting an audio system installed, and hence need to take out the old dashboard and replace it.

For those that are looking for a more classic look and feel and may already have a solid built-in or factory assembled audio system, they might just want to add or replace a couple of sections on the dash with various parts of materials including colored plastic or metal, carbon fiber, aluminum or wood. A nice wood dash shows that you are more of a classic, luxury kind of car owner who appreciates the finer things in life, whereas an aluminum dash may show that you like to show some flair and a bit more wild.

It’s really all about what fits your style when it comes to customizing your dashboard. Just remember that you don’t have to upgrade or customize only when you upgrade your audio system, and be sure to browse around online to get some great dashboard customization tips and ideas.
